PortIQ Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking a Logistics Import Administrator to join our exciting business with an immediate start available. This is a full time position based in Lytton, QLD 4178. The Logistics Import Administrator will play a crucial role in accurately receiving and processing shipment details, maintaining efficient and reliable data records whilst acting as a trusted point of contact for both our customers and operational team. This position is essential to our operational efficiency and directly contributes to our ability to deliver outstanding service to our clients in the logistics and distribution sector.

The Logistics Import Administrator will play a crucial role in accurately receiving and processing shipment details, maintaining efficient and reliable data records whilst acting as a trusted point of contact for both our customers and operational team. This position is essential to our operational efficiency and directly contributes to our ability to deliver outstanding service to our clients in the logistics and distribution sector.

Key responsibilities

- Accurately process new customer shipment details within our data systems
- Track shipping vessels daily to provide updated reports to all interested parties




- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing operational and administrative support
- Complete invoicing and reconciliation for all shipments
- Stock control administration
- Provide broader administrative support across logistics and compliance matters as required

About you

- Punctual and confident, with the ability to work accurately, efficiently and autonomously
- Minimum 5 years' experience in container transport administration (highly regarded), LCL transport and steel commodities
- Experience with 1-Stop and Container Chain systems highly regarded
- Strong customer service values and communication skills
- Competent computer skills, with experience in Microsoft 365 and Xero accounting software preferred but not essential
- Strong time management and task prioritisation skills
