Plan International
Melbourne
You know that Plan International Australia exists to create justice and equality for girls. You've seen us evolving — shifting from program implementer to bridge builder, connecting resources to impact so locally-led organisations can drive change for girls at scale.
Our new strategy, Girls Rise, is bold. We're investing in a fundraising pipeline that deliberately moves supporters toward higher-value, longer-term relationships. We're building our thought leadership, pursuing climate finance, and getting smarter with AI and data. We're becoming a leaner, more focused organisation — and we need the right people in the right roles to make it real.
This might be your next step.
Giving Adviser, Appeals

You know that Plan International Australia exists to create justice and equality for girls. You've seen us evolving — shifting from program implementer to bridge builder, connecting resources to impact so locally-led organisations can drive change for girls at scale.
Our new strategy, Girls Rise, is bold. We're investing in a fundraising pipeline that deliberately moves supporters toward higher-value, longer-term relationships. We're building our thought leadership, pursuing climate finance, and getting smarter with AI and data. We're becoming a leaner, more focused organisation — and we need the right people in the right roles to make it real.

The Role
Appeals are the heartbeat of our cash giving program — they raise vital, flexible income and keep our giving base engaged. But under Girls Rise, they also do something more: they're a key tool for deepening mid-value and major donor relationships and moving supporters along the pipeline toward transformational giving.

ensuring these are designed to maximise mid-value and philanthropy engagement.
Data, targeting and supporter experience
- Working with Technology, Data & AI to ensure data accuracy and effective targeting and selection for each appeal.
- Working with Donor Care to ensure an excellent supporter experience and to manage any complaints about fundraising.
Supplier management
- Monitoring and managing suppliers, supplying collateral, and proactively identifying and escalating supplier risks.
- Holding suppliers accountable to compliance, codes of conduct and brand guidelines - delivering training where needed.
Performance and improvement
- Tracking appeal performance against net-income targets and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Supporting a transparent, efficient annual appeals rhythm.
