About the Role:
n
The Health & Safety Manager will play a critical leadership role in upholding the company's commitment to safety across civil construction projects. Key responsibilities include:
n
n
- Mentoring and supporting site personnel in workplace health and safety practices
n
- Conducting site inspections and audits, with feedback and recommendations
n
- Identifying and mitigating safety risks and enhancing systems
n
- Assisting Project Managers with WHS compliance and implementation
n
- Supporting the preparation and maintenance of safety plans and documentation
n
- Ensuring compliance with all legislation, standards,
and specifications
n
- Managing return-to-work and injury rehabilitation processes
n
- Accurately reporting and contributing to safety solutions
n
n
Key Requirements:
n
n
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent)
n
- At least 10 years' experience in safety roles within the civil construction sector
n
- Proven leadership and communication skills
n
- Previous team management experience
n
- Valid C-Class Driver's Licence
n
n
