We're looking for a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our well-established paediatric private practice on Sydney's Lower North Shore.
n
We understand that everyone's ideal work week looks different, so we're flexible. Whether you're looking for a traditional five-day week, full-time hours across four days, or part-time work, we'd love to chat.
n
Our practice has a strong reputation within the local community and provides assessment and therapy for children across a broad range of communication needs. Most sessions are clinic-based, with some visits to local schools, providing a varied and rewarding caseload.

About our team

As a Speech Pathologist in our practice, you will:
n
n
- Assess, diagnose and provide evidence-based intervention for children with a variety of communication needs, including speech, language, literacy, fluency and social communication.
n
- Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to each child's goals.
n
- Build positive relationships with children and their families through engaging, family-centred therapy.
n
- Liaise with parents, teachers and other health professionals to support each child's progress.
n
- Provide therapy primarily within our clinic, with some visits to local schools.
n
- Complete clinical reports, assessments, goal plans and progress notes in a timely manner.
n
- Participate in weekly supervision, team meetings and professional development.
n
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team,
including Speech Pathologists, an Occupational Therapist and a Psychologist/Specialist Teacher.
n
- Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture and ongoing service improvement.
n
n
Job Requirements
n
Essential
n
n
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
n
- Eligibility for Certified Practising Membership (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia.
n
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
n
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for local school visits.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
n
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
n
- Passion for working with children and supporting families.
n
n
Desirable
n
n
- Experience working in paediatric private practice, schools or community settings.
n
- Experience assessing and treating a range of paediatric communication disorders.
n
- Confidence liaising with schools and other professionals.
n
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
n
n
