The Role

We are seeking to engage a Cadet Drafter to join our Rail & Metro team in Brisbane to contribute to the development and production of some of the largest rail infrastructure projects across Queensland.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assisting in the preparation of schematic and production drawings under supervision
n
- Performing general office duties under supervision
n
- Assisting more senior drafters with the analysis of tasks and problems
n
- Production of construction-level documentation
n
- Check print procedures
n
- Issuing procedures
n
- Vault data management processes
n

n

About You

n

n
- Enrolment in an Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree
n
- Willingness to learn Civil Infrastructure and CAD technologies
n
- Willingness to learn CAD technologies, with emphasis on the Autodesk suite of products
n
- Ability to interpret and carry out instructions
n
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work within a diverse and multidisciplinary environment
n
- Ability to adapt to changing situations
n
