About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join Rockcote’s NSW team and play a key role in growing our presence across the Sydney market.

Rockcote is a family-owned Australian business with 47+ years of experience, specializing in render, texture coatings and complete architectural coating systems. We manufacture our own products, providing customers with consistent quality, performance and technical support.

This is a genuine new business development role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building strategic relationships and winning new opportunities. You will identify projects from the early stages, influence specifications and take ownership through to successful delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Identify, develop and secure new project opportunities across Sydney and surrounding areas
- Build and grow relationships across the construction and design industry
- Develop and manage a strong project pipeline to deliver consistent revenue growth
- Promote complete coating and render systems through consultative, solution-based selling
- Influence project specifications and system selection through technical advice and product knowledge
- Take ownership of projects from early engagement through to successful delivery
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with customers and internal teams to support project outcomes
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity, and represent Rockcote at industry events, trade shows, site meetings and product training

About You:

You will be an experienced,



commercially driven Business Development professional with a proven track record of winning new business, developing strategic relationships and delivering sustainable revenue growth. You will be confident operating autonomously, taking ownership of your market and driving opportunities from initial engagement through to successful outcomes.

Requirements:

- Proven success in a Business Development or new business sales role, with a strong track record of achieving targets
- Demonstrated ability to open new markets, build pipelines and convert opportunities into significant revenue
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience selling into construction, building products, architectural, engineering or related industries
- Experience influencing project specifications and securing work through consultative or solution-based selling
- Strong project and pipeline management skills, with the discipline to manage longer sales cycles
- High level of initiative, resilience and accountability, with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the Sydney market
