Overview

At Endeavour Group, the purpose is "Creating a more sociable future together". We are looking for a Design Manager to develop and deliver market‐leading store environments for our iconic brands Dan Murphy's and BWS.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead store designs for Dan Murphy's and BWS, ensuring exceptional brand expression, site flow, and interior design excellence.
n
- Produce detailed documentation packages and 3D walkthroughs, adapting standard detailed drawings to suit site‐specific conditions.
n
- Present store concepts to brand leadership and collaborate closely with state delivery teams (Property, Build, and Format Operations). Build strong relationships with external architects, consulting partners, and agencies.
n
- Attend site and defect walks with the state team across various stages of the project.
n
- Manage external drafting partners to produce construction documentation, providing clear guidance on design intent and program priorities.
n
- Ensure construction documentation and the physical build align with design intent, brand standards, and NCC/Australian Standards.
n
- Facilitate basebuild architectural, structural and building services (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire) reviews and coordination, ensuring alignment with design intent and current internal standards.
n
- Deliver projects within allocated budgets,



proactively evolve formats as store learnings are captured, and develop bespoke design solutions for unique store challenges.

- Provide structured program, workload, and design updates to the Senior Design Manager and broader leadership forums.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- 5+ years of design or design management industry experience managing and leading store designs.
n
- Proven retail design experience essential to thrive in this fast‐paced workplace.
n
- 5+ years of hands‐on working Revit knowledge to produce store concept packs, detailed documentation, and engaging 3D visualisations.
n
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related design discipline.
n
- Strong working knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards.
n
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects on time and budget.
n
- Outstanding relationship management skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
