Minimum Requirements
n
n
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in the relevant field or minimum 3 years relevant experience.
n
n
At least one year experience in a similar role
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Manage the day-to-day retail and front-of-house operations of the café and takeaway business.
n
- Lead, supervise, train and motivate customer service and retail staff.
n
- Coordinate staff rosters to ensure efficient service during peak trading periods.
n
- Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction.
n
- Manage inventory levels, stock ordering and supplier relationships for retail products and beverages.
n
- Oversee merchandising and presentation of retail displays, takeaway products and point-of-sale areas.
n
- Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety and company operational procedures.
n
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
n
- Monitor operational costs and prepare management reports relating to sales, staffing and inventory.
n
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service throughout the venue.

- Previous experience managing retail or hospitality operations in a busy customer-focused setting.

- Experience with inventory control, ordering and retail merchandising.
