Are you a hands ‐ on and solutions ‐ focused Product Developer ready to make a meaningful impact in food production?

At Primo Foods, you ' ll play a key role in supporting product development, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement across our portfolio. You ' ll work closely with cross ‐ functional teams to enhance product quality, efficiency, and innovation within a fast ‐ paced manufacturing workplace.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Support EPD and product improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost performance
n
- Identify and implement cost ‐ reduction and process ‐ optimisation opportunities
n
- Analyse production processes, ingredients, machinery and yields to pinpoint improvements
n
- Ensure products meet food safety, regulatory and customer quality standards
n
- Provide technical R&D; support across operations, supply chain, procurement and QA
n
- Troubleshoot product, process and quality issues and support root cause analysis
n
- Conduct trials in pilot and factory environments and track outcomes
n
- Research new ingredients, packaging and processing technologies
n
- Use data ‐ driven insights to support formulation improvements and scalability
n
- Manage timelines, deliverables and key milestones across simultaneous projects
n
n
About You
n
n
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field
n
- 2+ years' experience in product development, R&D;, QA or food manufacturing
n
- Strong understanding of HACCP, FSANZ, GMP and food safety principles
n
- Analytical thinker with experience running trials and solving production issues
n
- Excellent communicator with strong cross ‐ functional collaboration skills
n
- Detail ‐ oriented, adaptable and comfortable in a fast ‐ paced manufacturing environment
n
