Clinical Leader, Early Psychosis Intervention Team

Remuneration:$75,073.00 - $152,392.73 per annum, pro rata(+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

About the role

In this pivotal role, you’ll combine advanced clinical practice with strong leadership, supporting young people experiencing or at risk of psychosis to achieve functional recovery and connection to community supports. You’ll provide direct clinical care while shaping service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement aligned with the Australian Clinical Guidelines for Early Psychosis.

Your responsibilities will include.





- Providing expert clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary early psychosis team
- Delivering advanced, evidence-based assessments and therapeutic interventions
- Partnering with consumers, families and carers in youth-friendly, recovery-oriented care
- Supervising, mentoring and supporting clinicians to build capability and confidence
- Strengthening service integration with schools, NGOs, primary care and community partners
- Driving clinical quality, safety, outcome measurement and continuous improvement

Your contribution as a healthcare professional will have a meaningful and positive impact, which is felt at a community level.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Relevant qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Senior Psychology or Nursing with Australian recognised peak body registration and/or AHPRA.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical expertise and leadership capability
- Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate mental health experience, including youth or early psychosis
- NSW Working With Children Check and NSW Class C Drivers Licence
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, inclusive approach
