With two quality venues, Malvern Tennis Centre & Orrong Park Tennis Centre, Netsports help everyday people fall in love with tennis! With over 1,000 people through our gates each week, Netsports is an exciting place to play, learn and coach. We offer a variety of programs on a weekly basis including Hot Shots, Cardio tennis, group and private lessons, and seasonal tennis tournaments. We coach all types of players, but there's a special place in our hearts for beginners and intermediate players.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic tennis coach with impeccable communication skills, who can deliver high-quality group and private tennis lessons to a broad range of recreational players.
Reporting to the venue's head coach, you will play a pivotal role as one of our senior coaches. You'll take charge of your own lessons, be a leader for junior coaches, and act as a "senior presence" on select days.
Joining a committed team of 30 coaches, you'll be someone we can rely on term to term. A rare prospect!
Selection Criteria
- Ideally 5+ years of tennis coaching experience
- Experience coaching all ages and a variety of levels (beginners to intermediate+)
- Naturally confident and enthusiastic ...without a big ego ;)
- Believes that " team work makes the dream work" and " we is greater than me"
- Holds high standards: punctuality, honesty, reliability, professionalism
- Has some competitive playing experience
- Lives in Melbourne, can easily travel to our Armadale and Prahran venues
- Unlimited working rights in Australia and a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
