About the role

n

As a Cloud Engineer, you'll design, implement, and support secure, scalable Azure infrastructure. You'll play a key role in building automated, well-architected cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices.

n

You'll also provide Level 2/3 support, ensuring platforms remain resilient, high performing, and aligned to security and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Design and implement Azure solutions aligned to best practice, security, and customer needs
n
- Build secure landing zones, networks, and identity integrations
n
- Work with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, CI/CD)
n
- Drive automation to improve consistency and reduce manual effort
n
- Implement automated testing, validation, and deployments
n
- Provide Level 2/3 support, incident response, and root cause analysis
n
- Apply a security-first mindset across all solutions
n




- Implement identity, network security, and policy controls
n
- Ensure alignment with governance and compliance frameworks
n
- Partner with customers, Microsoft, and internal teams
n
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
n

n

What you'll bring

n

n
- 3+ years working with Microsoft Azure
n
- Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
n
- Exposure to containerisation (Docker, AKS)
n
- Experience supporting production systems (L2/L3)
n
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
n
- Cloud governance and security fundamentals
n

- Security-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills
n
- Currently holds, or is eligible to obtain, an Australian government NV1 security clearance
n
- Robust communicator who enjoys working with stakeholders
n
- Proactive, curious, and committed to continuous improvement
n
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
