Research and Data Analytics Officer role at Standards Australia. Standfards Australia (SA) is the peak standards development organisation in Australia, with a history dating back to 1922. About the role: Support the Research, Data Analytics, and Experience Management teams through strategic research, data analysis and administrative activities. Contribute to a wide variety of activities from initial analysis to design and sharing of knowledge across the teams.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Respond to internal requests for research and data analytics; support analysts in developing high-quality reports, value creation cases, presentations and related content
n
- Support knowledge-sharing activities such as internal research events, showcases, and external reports
n
- Support in driving research partnerships and third-party collaboration opportunities
n
- Conduct standard mapping exercises and translate data into meaningful insights to identify opportunities for standards development and business growth
n
- Document data pipelines and governance processes with the data team
n
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports
n
- Contribute to the periodic development of white papers and other collateral
n
- Collate insights from internal data sources and report on key findings
n
- Conduct qualitative research and manage surveys using Qualtrics
n
- Contribute to building and managing the research community/panels
n




- Provide document management, data entry, calendar/diary management, processing of expenses and other administration/project management activities as required
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Degree qualification in business, marketing or relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience
n
- Exceptional written communication skills
n
- Proven ability to synthesise research findings and produce comprehensive reports
n
- Excellent presentation skills
n
- High level of attention to detail
n
- Strong analytical, research, data mining, data modelling and critical thinking skills
n
- Working knowledge of Power BI, Salesforce; understanding of project management methodologies is advantageous
n
