About Us
At The Primary Way, we are a leading public speaking and communications training provider for kids in Sydney's North Shore. With over 32 years of experience in education, our mission is to nurture kids to become powerful speakers, so they have the communication & interpersonal skills to succeed in school, their careers and life.
This means being able to succeed on stage through speeches & debates, public speaking competitions, and interviews. Above all, we pride ourselves on nurturing our students to be strong everyday communicators. This means developing the skills, personality, and character to express feelings and ideas, persuade, work in a team, and also lead — all vital skills for their current school journey and in life.
We are passionate about making a positive difference, and we foster a learning community around our core values of doing the right thing, being life-long learners, making things happen, and bring that X-factor, whether it's quirk, energy, or humour - unique to each individual's personality.
About the Role
The Primary Way is seeking a Senior Public Speaking Coach to work alongside our Founder Scott Yung to teach and deliver exceptional group classes.
The main responsibility of this role is to coach and mentor students from Kindergarten to Year 10, so that they develop powerful speaking skills, a confident personality, and a character that embodies kindness and integrity.
This means delivering structured lessons through our proven model and curriculum that has seen us to become one of the most popular public speaking programs in the Lower North Shore.
Our classes are extremely high energy, inspiring & fun, and above all, we prove to parents through the visible improvement of our students, week to week.
We are seeking to bring on board a high energy individual who has a proven track record of helping kids with public speaking ( for e.g. Head of Drama or Senior Public Speaking Coach) or a coach within acting and drama facilities (such as NIDA or Actors Centre Australia).
