Senior Accountant - Chartered to Commercial

We're working with an impressive and growing property portfolio across commercial, industrial, and residential assets. They're entrepreneurial, ambitious, and looking for a like-minded finance leader who wants to get in early, roll up their sleeves, and help drive the business forward.

The Opportunity

n

This is a rare opportunity to step into a broad, hands-on finance role with exposure to property investment, development, and strategic decision-making. Working directly with the principals, you'll have full visibility across the business and play a key role in managing financial operations, structuring investments, and driving commercial outcomes.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- End-to-end financial management, including month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
n
- Oversight of cash flow, funding, and capital management across multiple entities
n
- Property-specific reporting and analysis: project costs, ROI modelling
n
- Liaising with banks, legal, tax, and external advisors on transactions and structuring
n
- Supporting property acquisitions, disposals, and development feasibility assessments
n
- Building and improving systems, processes, and reporting as the business scales
n
- Managing compliance, tax lodgements,



and ATO obligations with external accountants
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- A qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with 5+ years' experience in a property, or a chartered environment
n
- Strong financial acumen and attention to detail – but equally comfortable thinking strategically
n
- A hands-on, "can-do" operator who enjoys variety and problem-solving
n
- Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders
n
