My client is an established Australian hotel group with a portfolio of well-known pubs across Sydney. And I'll be upfront: this isn't a shiny corporate office with beanbags and Friday cocktails.

You'll work from the group's head office in Maroubra with a small, established finance team. It's busy and hands-on. What they can offer is stability, autonomy and the opportunity to become a genuinely important part of the business.

You'll gradually take responsibility for the accounts across several hotel venues, including:

- End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Bank, credit card and supplier reconciliations




- Recording daily venue sales and tracking gaming payments
- Monitoring safe balances and venue floats
- Payroll support and employee records
- Assisting with month-end
- Compliance and training administration
- Preparing information and reports for Directors, stakeholders and auditors
- General finance and administration support when needed

You'll ideally have:

- Solid experience as an Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or similar
- Strong MYOB experience
- Excellent reconciliation skills
- AP and AR experience
- Payroll exposure
- Good Excel skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to manage your own workload and deadlines
