About the Business

Seniors Fitness is a Sydney-based Exercise Physiology business providing current, evidence-based exercise, physical rehabilitation and chronic disease management in both clinical and in-home settings. We deliver a wide scope of practice including individual rehabilitation sessions, falls prevention, chronic disease management, and strength and conditioning for healthy populations.

Unlike many EP roles, you will not be working out of a corner of a commercial gym. We own and run our own fully equipped private gym in Bondi Junction, giving you a dedicated clinical space designed for our clients and purpose-built for exercise physiology.

About the Role

We are seeking a part-time or casual Accredited Exercise Physiologist who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and personable to join our team in Bondi Junction, NSW.

The successful applicant must hold ESSA accreditation and be eligible for a Medicare provider number, in addition to holding professional indemnity insurance, SIRA accreditation, and current First Aid and CPR certificates.

What You'll Need

- ESSA accreditation (essential)
- SIRA accreditation
- Eligibility for a Medicare provider number
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Driver licence
- Exceptional skills in exercise prescription and programming




- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, coworkers and other health professionals
- Ability to organise daily tasks and work independently and unsupervised
- A proactive self-starter who shows initiative and finds tasks that need doing without being asked
- A fun, outgoing personality with commitment and motivation
- A passion for ongoing learning and progression
- Experience using Halaxy preferred, but not essential

Key Responsibilities

- Assessing and ongoing monitoring of clients
- Working with clients individually and in groups, including delivering group classes alongside our partner business
- Communicating and reporting to other health and medical professionals
- Health education and promotion for patients
- Maintaining up-to-date client notes
- Regular revision and progression of client programs
- Social media posts
- Administrative tasks
