Your new role as the Machine Assembler will report into the Workshop Supervisor and will be based in our Guildford Department.

The New Mining Machines Department at WesTrac specializes in providing cutting-edge machinery solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the mining industry. Our team is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge, reliable, and efficient Caterpillar equipment to enhance operational productivity and safety.

Location: Guildford

n

Roster: 5 days on, 2 days off 10.5 hours each day (Inclusive of 30min unpaid meal break)

n

What you'll do:

n

n
- Responsible for assisting the Plant Mechanics with machine builds on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment.
n
- Valve and pump assembly / reseals, servicing and hydraulic hosing.
n

n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Excellent mechanical aptitude or mechanical experience, Heavy or Light Vehicle
n
- Exposure working in a similar service environment or mining
n
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
n
- Exceptional communication skills
n
- Basic tools required
n
- Basic computer skills
n
- Forklift Ticket, Basic Rigger, Dogging, Working at Heights - Advantageous
