Job Description
Our Client is a leading quantitative investment firm expanding its ETF trading capability in Sydney. They are seeking a highly motivated quantitative trader to join a growing team focused on systematic ETF market making and electronic trading across Asia-Pacific markets.

Quantitative ETF Trader, Sydney

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Trade and manage ETF positions across Asia-Pacific markets.
n
- Monitor and optimise systematic trading strategies and execution performance.
n
- Research new quantitative signals and trading opportunities.
n
- Assist in the development of pricing models and trading tools.
n
- Work closely with researchers and engineers to improve trading systems and automation.
n
- Manage trading risk, portfolio exposures, and execution quality.
n
- Keep abreast of market structure changes and new ETF developments.
n
n
About You
n
n
- 1-5 years' experience in quantitative trading, electronic trading, or a related analytical role.
n
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with an understanding of probability and risk management.
n
- Experience with ETFs, Delta One products, or systematic trading is highly regarded.
n
- Proficiency in analysing data and working with automated trading environments.
n
- Programming skills (Python and/or C++) are advantageous.
n
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high degree of ownership.
n
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
n
