About the role

n

As Planning Officer, you'll support port logistics by ensuring planning systems, purchasing, and compliance processes are delivered accurately and in line with operational needs.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Maintain up-to-date data and records in logistics systems to support operational planning
n
- Deliver high-quality customer service by resolving issues and working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
n
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, including NHVR, customs, and biosecurity requirements
n
- Support purchasing and planning tasks to align with customer agreements and business targets
n
- Monitor service levels and provide updates to meet internal and external reporting requirements
n

About You

n

You're organised, detail-oriented, and skilled at working with logistics systems and stakeholders alike. You'll also bring:

n

n
- Relevant tertiary or experience in a logistics, supply chain, or port operations role




n
- Knowledge of NHVR, customs, or biosecurity regulations
n
- Experience using TMS or other freight and cargo management systems
n
- Strong customer service focus and the ability to build effective working relationships
n
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
n
- Flexibility to work at short notice, including irregular hours and weekends when required
n
