You might currently be working in one of the following sectors:
- Light vehicle / passenger cars
- Heavy commercial vehicles / trucks
- Heavy machinery / equipment
- Transmission or driveline specialist
Proven experience in an automotive / mechanical fitter role is highly desirable.

The employer is a long established market leader that provides heavy vehicle power steering and commercial vehicle power steering products to OEM and aftermarket customers.
The company has headquarters in Melbourne with branches in VIC, NSW, WA and QLD.
About the role
Based at the company’s Sydney Branch in Wetherill Park, we require a mechanic / fitter to accurately diagnose faults,
and remove and repair steering gears and pumps.
What we need you to bring
- Permanent and unrestricted Australian work rights
- Proven hands‑on mechanical background
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work without constant supervision
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and workshop team
- Drivers licence with a clean driving record (HR or MC licence desirable for road testing purposes)
