About the role

Wodonga TAFE is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Administration Officer to join our vibrant Student Administration team in the Student Services & Quality (SSQ) department. As an Administration Officer in Student Administration, you will be the friendly face and first point of contact for both internal and external clients of the Institute.
Your role will be key in providing efficient and responsive customer service across various channels—whether it’s over the counter, by phone, email, or through our ticket system. You’ll assist with student enrolments, determine eligibility for government-funded training places, process payments,
and provide expert advice on training options and government initiatives to a diverse range of clients.
You’ll also work closely with our other administrative staff to ensure the smooth and seamless delivery of administrative services across the entire Wodonga TAFE community.
Selected Duties:
- Be the first point of contact for students and clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Offer clear, accurate advice on training options and government initiatives to ensure accessibility and success.
- Provide valuable administrative support, including data entry, reporting, and records management.
- Collaborate with other teams as needed to contribute to Wodonga TAFE’s growth and success.

About you
You will bring
Essential:
- Relevant Diploma and demonstrated experience or a suitable combination of qualifications and experience.
Desirable:
- A solid understanding of procedures, guidelines, and government initiatives relevant to education and student services.

Successful applicants will be required to provide :
- A current National Police Check (issued within three months of commencement)
