The Role

Goodwe has a dedicated team for Australia and New Zealand and are looking for a Junior Engineer to join the team, in-line with the company growth. This position is flexible in Australia with periods working from home and occasional travel. This role would suit a recent university graduate or someone early in their career and looking for a position that could grow over time.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for the tele- and on-site technical support and post sales support.

Commissioning, troubleshooting, firmware/hardware updating of PV string, Hybrid / storage inverter and BESS.

Reporting and following up with head office in relation to product failure with clear descriptions

Evaluating PV plant performance by studying operation data on a regular basis

Pro-actively work with installers & retailers and provide them best-in class customer experience.





Regular follow-ups on the technical issues and build a healthy relationship with installer & retailers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor degree or above: must be electrical or electronics background.

Preferred minimum 1 year of working experience in the solar industry especially dealing with product trouble shootings

Strong ability to analyse and solve problems independently.

Reliable and self-motivated

The ability to learn new technologies quickly

Strong Microsoft office skills

Ability to work effectively in a team workplace,

Excellent communication skills

A friendly, positive and customer-driven attitude

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Adapt to frequent travel

Driving license required.
