Gough Recruitment is partnering with a growing commercial property finance business looking to appoint Analysts across its Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth teams.

I’m also keen to speak with Sydney-based Analysts who may be considering an interstate move.

This is an opportunity for someone currently within banking, credit, lending or transaction advisory who wants to get closer to deals, clients and the full transaction lifecycle.

The Opportunity

Working alongside experienced senior property finance professionals, you’ll gain exposure across commercial property asset classes and different parts of the capital stack.

You’ll be involved from initial assessment and structuring through to credit, execution and settlement, with increasing client and lender exposure as you develop.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Building financial models and undertaking transaction analysis
- Preparing credit submissions and financing recommendations
- Assessing commercial property transactions across multiple asset classes
- Supporting transactions from origination through to settlement
- Reviewing debt structures and different financing solutions
- Working directly with clients, banks, non-bank lenders and other market participants
- Supporting senior team members while progressively taking greater ownership of transactions





Who I’d Like to Speak With I’m particularly interested in Analysts coming from:

- Commercial or institutional banking
- Property / real estate finance
- Corporate lending and credit
- Private credit
- Non-bank lending
- Debt advisory
- Big 4 Deals, Corporate Finance, Valuations or Transaction Services

You’ll ideally have strong financial modelling and analytical skills, a good understanding of credit or transaction analysis, and the commercial confidence to develop into a more client-facing role. Direct commercial property finance experience is highly regarded, but not essential if you have strong transferable lending, credit or financial analysis experience.
