Bringing together technical excellence and commercial innovation, they regularly act as technology provider, system integrator and EPC contractor, as well as providing long-term operations and maintenance services for the assets it helps deliver.

The Role
n
With a growing portfolio of nationally significant energy projects, our client is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their high-performing legal team in Sydney.
n
This role offers a rare opportunity to contribute to the legal and commercial delivery of solutions critical to Australia's energy transition. You will provide front-end legal support across the full project lifecycle — from early-stage development and procurement, through to construction and delivery.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of infrastructure and construction contracts, including D&C;, EPC, Construct Only, and O&M.;
n
- Supporting cross-functional project teams and senior stakeholders in commercial negotiations and legal decision-making
n
- Advising on project risk allocation, contract administration, variations, claims, and disputes
n
- Helping to manage external legal advisers and ensuring alignment with project timelines and corporate objectives
n
n
This is an excellent chance for a construction or infrastructure-focused lawyer who is passionate about playing a role in shaping Australia's future energy network.

The Candidate
n
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of PAE (Post Admission Experience) gained from a reputable law firm or in-house role, with solid experience in front-end legal work.

- Hands‐on experience in major construction and infrastructure projects, with a focus on contract strategy, claims management, and dispute resolution.

- A proactive, adaptable approach, capable of managing complex challenges with confidence and professionalism.
