Drive sales into your own fit bay – join the Autobarn family as an Audio and Electrical Fitter! Autobarn is growing and we're looking for an experienced Audio and Electrical Fitter to join our in-store team. The successful candidate will actively get involved with serving customers, creating solutions, driving sales and coaching the team to create a strong flow of work. This role is vital to ensuring our customers leave the store excited for their next journey on the road!

Responsibilities

n

The accessory Audio and Electrical Fitter reports to the Store Manager, and tasks include:

n

n
- Installing audio electrics and other vehicle accessories.
n
- Providing exceptional customer service.
n
- Working with team members to help customers get the best from their vehicle.
n
- Maintaining fitting service appointments.
n
- Creating a safe and secure working environment.
n
- Complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures and instructions.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Prior accessory fitting/workshop experience.
n




- A minimum of a valid Certificate II or Certificate III in Automotive Electrical or Automotive Mechanical trades.
n
- Solid communication, customer service skills and a people‐focused attitude.
n
- A "can‐do" attitude and pride in getting the job done well.
n
- Skill in installations of audio electronics.
n
- Installation of 4WD accessories is also highly regarded.
n
- Eagerness to continuously learn, train, and work with the whole team.
n
