Job Description

Make your mark in the role of Business Analyst for the world's leading garnet abrasive company. This role will be critical in our plans to grow our business as you develop financial models and analysis that produces meaningful insights and informs improved decision making.

Responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Financial modelling including developing models, refining, and maintaining to support forecasting, budgeting, and other financial planning activities
n
- Producing high quality reports including financial/management reports reports, forecasts and commentary for internal leaders or external stakeholders.
n
- Adopting a continuous improvement mindset for activities to ensure techniques and methodologies used keep pace with emerging leading practice.
n
- Development and integration of group-wide business intelligence tools to assist business decision making in areas such as pricing strategies, cost & productivity performance, and capital management
n
- Business partnering with key stakeholders in the budget/forecasting process and ensuring changes/improvements to processes are implemented
n
- Assist in completing board presentations as required
n
- Other Ad-hoc analysis and duties
n

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, accounting (CA or CPA preferred), or a related field.
n
- 2+ years of experience in financial modelling and analysis
n




- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of complex formulas and pivot tables)
n
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, synthesize complex data, and problem solve.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
n
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
n
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
n
