About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic barista to join our client's team based in North Sydney. You will provide top-notch coffee services to their internal and external corporate clients.
You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. You will also engage with corporate employees and visitors, creating a welcoming and qualified atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee beverages to order, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other specialty drinks.
- Ensure coffee machines and equipment are properly maintained and cleaned.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting and interacting with corporate employees and visitors.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a protected and hygienic environment.
- Assist with other related tasks as required by the client.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings.
- Valid certification in food safety and hygiene is a plus.
