Your new company HAYS has partnered with a local company that plays a vital part in the defence industry in aerospace. An independently owned group which is recognised globally for specialising in manufacturing & design within the aviation, defence and automotive industries and has a great global footprint. Their facility in Tingalpa is looking to extend their warehousing staff and onboard their next stores person for an ongoing opportunity.

Your current role As their new store person, you will have great responsibility for their daily warehousing operations, which will also include but not limited to:

n

- Locating, picking and packing orders to be ready for dispatch.
n
- Assist in processing domestic and international shipments via online freight forwarding
n
- Conduct safe and accurate forklift operations for transporting stock in the warehouse
n
- Assist in loading and unloading of trucks & containers
n
- Conduct and participate in stock takes
n
- Contribute to keeping work areas safe, clean & hazard free
n

What you'll need to succeed

n

n
- Valid High-Risk Work - LF Forklift licence
n
- Previous experience in a store person role or warehousing experience
n
- Experience with inventory and computer skills
n
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate in a team to achieve goals and deadlines
n
- Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents due to the defence industry, can be discussed further.
n
- Able to conduct a security questionnaire upon commencement
n
- Experience with SAP systems is essential
n
- Valid driver's licence and photo ID
n
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
n
