Job Description

We're seeking a commercially minded and connected Investor Relations professional to join Yard, a growing non-bank lender and fund manager. This is a rare prospect to play a foundational role in building out the investor base for the Yard Income Trust, our newly launched mortgage fund.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the capital raising effort for the Yard Income Trust from wholesale investors
n
- Leverage existing relationships with accountants, wealth managers, and family offices to build a quality investor base
n
- Develop and execute a targeted investor outreach strategy, including events, presentations, and one-on-one meetings
n
- Act as the primary contact for investors and potential investors, ensuring a high standard of service and communication
n
- Work closely with the Managing Director and distribution partners on investor communications, reporting, and marketing
n

About You

n

n
- Strong networks across professional services firms and family offices in Australia
n
- Prior experience in investor relations, capital raising, or business development—ideally in private credit, alternative investments, or funds management
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
- Motivated, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to help grow something from the ground up
