DDH1 Drilling is looking for talented Drillers with experience in iron ore operating a range of rig models, particularly LF160.

n

If you've got solid drilling experience in Iron Ore and are confident behind the panel of an LF160, we want to hear from you.

n

This is a FIFO role working with a Tier 1 client, offering stable long-term work and great camp facilities in the Pilbara.

n

As part of our team, you will receive ongoing paid training and industry certifications covered by DDH1 to help grow your career in drilling and open doors to future leadership positions.

What we're looking for:

n

n
- Experience operating LF160 Drill Rigs with Freedom hands Rod loaders
n
- Current HR or above licence
n
- Completed or completing Cert III in Drilling Operations
n
- Current First Aid Certificate HLTAID011
n
- Current Police Clearance
n
- Strong Safety Awareness and leadership skills
n

Your day-to-day responsibilities for your rig and drilling team:

n

n
- Operate drill rig to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards within a highly regulated operational safety system.
n
- Ensuring that 'Duty of Care' is exercised in all aspects of your own work activities as well as all personnel under your control.
n




- Ensuring all personnel comply with current HSE Regulations and any site-specific rules or regulations which may apply with various site operations.

- Carry out comprehensive inspections on all equipment onsite
n
- General maintenance and repairs including servicing and scheduled component change outs.
n
- Oversee the correct sampling procedures and ensure the core is marked to the client's requirements.
n
- Train, coach and mentor Offsiders and Trainee Drillers in safe work practices and rig operations. Develop trainees into capable and skilled drillers.
n
- Liaising with clients and executing the drilling program successfully to ensure operational excellence is delivered.
n
- Provide leadership and support for all drilling and maintenance under your control.
n
- Ensuring a high standard of personal presentation, behaviour and workplace conduct at all times, as well as checking that all field crews are also well presented.
n
- Always presenting 'Fit for Work', being punctual in attendance and participating in Drug and Alcohol testing when required.
