Job Description
Exciting opportunities for permanent full-time, part-time and casual positions are available within Perioperative Services at Epworth Richmond.
n
You will be responsible for providing quality service with patient care, equipment handling and transport services while contributing to the overall performance of the operating suite.
n
Responsibilities
n
n
- Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparation
n
- Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
n
- Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
n
n
Qualifications
n

- Cert III or Cert IV Theatre Technician qualification
n
- Minimum 6 months theatre technician experience following qualification
n
- Clear understanding and use of medical terminology
n
- Understanding of, and ability to set‐up medical devices/theatres
n
- Ability to work a rotating roster (mix of AM, PM, twilight, night and weekend shifts)
n

The annual salary range for Theatre Technicians – AUD $66,995 – $73,037 + super + entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for part‐time).
