We are partnering with an established international business operating within the industrial gases and environmental solutions sector to appoint an APAC Finance Director based in Melbourne.

This is a senior leadership role for a commercially minded finance leader who can operate as a genuine business partner to the executive team , while leading the broader finance function.

The opportunity:

- Lead Finance across the APAC business
- Act as a strategic partner to senior commercial and operational leadership
- Own FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting and performance management
- Drive commercial insights to support growth and key business decisions
- Lead a regional team of approximately 10 across Australia and Asia
- Drive finance transformation, process improvement and systems optimisation
- Support strategic projects, M&A; and business integration activities
- Over time, take on broader finance partnering responsibilities for global business units

We are looking for:





- CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA qualified finance leader
- Strong commercial finance and FP&A; background
- Experience at Finance Director, Head of Finance or equivalent senior level
- Track record partnering with MDs, GMs and senior business leaders
- Experience leading finance transformation or significant change initiatives
- Manufacturing, industrial, engineering or similarly operational environments preferred
- Strong, confident leadership style with the ability to constructively challenge the business
- Hands-on and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, evolving environment
- ANZ experience is sufficient; broader APAC exposure is advantageous but not essential
