About the role

SCA Engineering Pty Ltd is expanding the services they offer and are looking to employ Fitter- Welder tradesman to join their team. The position are for immediate start and remunerations will be discussed at the interview. Paying well above the award rate.

What we are looking for in the Fitter- Welder:

- AQF Certificate 111 in Engineering (Fabrication/Fitting/ Welding) or equivalent
- At least 3 years relevant hands‑on experience as a Fitter- Welder
- Able to assemble fabricated metal parts together using power tools
- Able to carry out quality control check on fabricated components and assembly
- Mechanically minded with strong knowledge of fabrication techniques and welding processes (Mig & Tig/Arc)
- Experience in setting up and operating a Press Brake, Guillotine, Laith, Mill and Hydraulic Press
- Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Able to use hand tools safely and efficiently
- Ability to work both as a team member or independently
- Physically fit and capable to carry out duties as required




- Own Transportation & current drivers license

What we offer

- All training offered in using CNC Press Brake, Saws, Drills, Roller and plasma.
- We fabricate a variety of products, no 2 days are the same. You will have the opportunity to work with aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel, in both heavy fabrication and sheet-metal work.
