Job Description
A well-established not-for-profit aged care organisation is looking for an experienced Revenue & Billing Officer to join their finance team. This role sits within a collaborative finance function and plays a key part in ensuring accurate billing, revenue processes, and government funding compliance across residential and community care services.

Key responsibilities
n
n
- Managing fortnightly billing runs, direct debits, and fee changes
n
- Processing admissions, departures, and termination refunds
n
- Maintaining accurate client and resident records across finance systems
n
- Preparing monthly statements and responding to client and family enquiries
n
- Managing collections, payment plans, and overdue accounts
n
- Supporting government funding claims, Medicare reporting, and month-end reconciliations
n
- Ensuring compliance with aged care prudential and legislative standards
n
n
About you
n
n
- 2+ years' experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance support
n
- Solid attention to detail and high level of accuracy
n
- Empathetic communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, families, and external stakeholders
n
- Intermediate Excel skills and ability to pick up new systems
n
- Experience within aged care, healthcare, NDIS, or government-funded environments will be highly regarded
n
