INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT - INNER NORTHERN BRISBANE SUBURB - MULTI-OFFICE FIRM (Job ID 827)

n The firm provides tax, accounting, advisory, audit and financial planning services to a diverse portfolio of clients including SMEs, family groups, Agri businesses and larger corporate entities. Their inner-north Brisbane office offers convenient access to bus, train and Gateway arterial links, while maintaining a collaborative and supportive team environment.

The Role:

n

n
- Work closely with Senior Accountants and Managers to deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services
n
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
n
- Preparing BAS and assisting with GST matters
n
- Supporting tax planning and business advisory engagements
n
- Liaising with clients via phone and email
n
- Assisting with client relationship management
n
- Continuing to build your technical knowledge and professional capability
n

n

About You:

n

n
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business
n
- Have 2-3+ years' experience in Australian public practice
n




- Have hands-on experience with companies, trusts and individual clients
n
- Possess a solid understanding of tax compliance obligations
n
- Be studying towards (or intending to commence) CA or CPA
n
- Be proficient in Xero, MYOB or similar accounting software
n
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
n
- Thrive in a team-focused environment
n
- Exposure to QBCC matters will be advantageous but is not essential.
n
