Equipment Specialist - Powered Wheelchairs

The Company

The Role

- Equipment Specialist/Product Consultant for scripted, powered wheelchairs
- Working closely with Occupational Therapists to provide product solutions for complex rehabilitation cases.
- Conduct product demonstrations. This hands-on role may also require some minor product customisations (supported by a Product & Tech team where necessary)
- Geelong-based and in-field role, going into the community accompanied by an OT to assess the customer’s needs - working with adults and children with complex rehabilitation requirements.
- This is an Equipment Specialist role that involves handling the sales process and providing product solutions to suit the customer’s needs.

Essential skills

- Must have experience working with prescribed, powered wheelchairs for complex cases
- Previous experience and passion for working in Complex Rehabilitation
- Comfortable with the physical aspect of the role - hands-on demos and minor customisations
- Occupational Therapist or Allied Health background ideal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Live in the south-west area of Melbourne
