Eligibility Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must:

- Be enrolled as a 2nd or 3rd year student in 2026
- Have successfully completed at least 2 semesters of a Bachelor of Midwifery
- Hold a satisfactory academic record and completion of at least 2 undergraduate clinical placements

As an Assistant in Midwifery, you will join a committed and supportive team dedicated to providing excellence in maternity care. This role gives you the chance to work across the postnatal ward and learn from experienced professionals and contribute meaningfully to the delivery of high quality maternity healthcare. Our AIMs play a vital role in supporting our Midwifery staff and delivering safe, respectful, and patient-centred care every day.

- You will have the prospect to contribute to high quality patientcare within the postnatal ward to grow your Midwifery career with purpose at Liverpool Hospital.
- Provide personal care, support, and assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife
- Support Registered Midwives, Registered &
- Enrolled Nurses with patient care tasks as directed, while working within SWSLHD policies, NSW Health Guidelines, and all relevant legislative requirements
- Assist with collecting accurate health data and clinical observations whilst maintaining clear, timely, and compliant patient documentation
