Role Description The Assistant Venue Manager will support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent guest experiences, and maintaining a welcoming, efficient workplace. This full-time position is on-site in Perth, WA, and involves supervising front-of-house teams, coordinating shifts, and assisting with training and performance feedback. The role includes helping manage bookings and events, liaising with kitchen and bar teams, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining venue presentation and compliance with safety and licensing requirements.
The Assistant Venue
Manager will also help with basic financial tasks such as monitoring budgets,
reporting key performance indicators, and supporting initiatives to grow revenue and uphold service standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to coordinate staff, interact with guests, and collaborate with management.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences and resolve guest issues professionally.
- Candidates should possess Venue Management skills to support daily operations, staff supervision, and compliance with venue policies.
- Candidates should possess Event Management skills to assist with planning, coordinating, and executing functions and special events.
- Candidates should possess Budgeting and basic financial skills to help monitor costs, revenue, and operational efficiency.
- Experience in hospitality, restaurants, bars, or events, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations.
