Job Description
Tender Specialist(12 months Fixed term contract role)

The Tender Specialist manages tender and contract processes end-to-end, managing bid processes from opportunity identification through to contract implementation across Public and Private Hospital sectors.
n
This role plays a key part in protecting revenue, improving tender win rates, and ensuring contract compliance through effective execution, pricing support, and robust cross-functional collaboration. The role also contributes to revenue retention and growth by supporting competitive tender submissions aligned with business objectives.
n
This is a fixed-term maternity leave backfill role supporting continuity of tender and contract management activities within the ANZ Commercial CoE.

What will you be doing?
n
Contracts & Tender Management
n
n
- Manage the end-to-end tender lifecycle (planning, submission, and implementation)
n
- Coordinate tender responses and stakeholder contributions
n
- Maintain tender tools, databases, calendar, and reporting outputs
n
- Maintain and develop tender response library and knowledge repository
n
- Support delivery of tender outcomes that contribute to revenue retention and growth targets
n
- Maintain hospital agreements and pricing governance
n
- Provide commercial and pricing analysis to inform and influence decision-making
n
n
Market Insights & Performance
n
n
- Monitor competitor activity and pricing trends to inform tender strategy
n
- Track, analyse, and report on contract performance (e.g. win rates, compliance, pricing performance)
n
- Identify trends and actions to improve tender outcomes and contract performance
n
n
Stakeholder Management
n
n
- Collaborate with Sales, Corporate Accounts, Marketing, Legal, Pricing, and Finance
n
- Support engagement with customers and procurement stakeholders where required
n
- Align tender activities with broader commercial strategies and priorities
n
n
What will you need to be successful?
n
n
- Tertiary qualification in relevant field.
n
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers
n
- Good analytical and documentation skills (Process orientated)
n
- High attention to detail and accurate with written correspondence
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
- Understanding of tender and contract management practices
n
- Computer proficiency in MS Office, specifically expert MS Excel
n
