About the Role





We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at our Macadamia Factory. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll oversee the maintenance and repair of plant and industrial machinery, ensuring equipment is safe, reliable and performing at optimal manufacturing standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where your technical expertise and people skills truly matter.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, train and support Maintenance Officers.
- Coordinate external service providers (mechanics, fitters, engineers, electricians).
- Ensure all personnel are adequately trained, inducted and compliant.
- Maintain robust WHS focus — identifying and reporting hazards.
- Manage and maintain the MEX maintenance system.
- Oversee scheduled maintenance and breakdown response.
- Diagnose faults and recommend solutions.
- Ensure repairs are completed correctly and recorded accurately.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders.
- Work within budgets and commercial considerations.
- Conduct testing on machinery and equipment to assess repair needs.
- Support extended hours during seasonal periods.

About You

Essential

- Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience in a FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Solid operational decision‑making and problem‑solving ability.
- Adaptable,



resilient and able to work well under pressure.
- Experience diagnosing faults and recommending or delivering solutions.

Desirable

- Mechanical/Fitter qualification or equivalent experience.
- Fabrication experience.
- Experience using a CMMS (e.g., MEX).
- Forklift Licence, Driver’s Licence.
- Conveyor system exposure.
