A well-regarded Tier 2 Head Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estimator to support a growing pipeline of complex commercial, mixed-use and large-scale accommodation projects across Sydney.

This business has established itself as a strong player within the market through repeat client relationships, high-quality project delivery and technically challenging work.

The Chance

Reporting into senior leadership, this role will see you involved across the full tendering lifecycle with exposure to negotiated work, early contractor involvement and delivery collaboration.

n

This is not a role purely focused on pricing from behind a desk. The successful candidate will play a key role working closely with delivery teams, subcontractors and leadership throughout the tender and pre-construction process.

Responsibilities

- Preparation of detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
n




- Subcontractor procurement and pricing analysis
n
- Buildability reviews and value engineering
n
- Managing multiple tenders concurrently
n
- Liaising with consultants, clients and internal delivery teams
n
- Tender negotiations and bid strategy input
n

n

Ideal Background

n

n
- Worked with a head contractor preferably T2 on projects 50mil+
n
- Proven estimating experience within a Head Contractor environment
n
- Strong exposure across commercial or mixed-use projects
n
- Ability to manage complex tenders autonomously
n
- Strong subcontractor and supplier relationships
n
- Commercially astute with strong communication skills
n
