What You Will Be Doing
n
As a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will collect blood and coordinate specimen samples from patients, delivering great customer service and quality healthcare.
n
Your key responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Collecting samples (blood and non‐blood) with care and attention
n
- Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample
n
- Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
n
- Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
n
- Liaising with a range of people including customers, clinic staff and couriers
n
n
What Type Of Person Will Be Successful
n
To be successful you may be an experienced Pathology Collector, hold a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or be a Registered Nurse seeking daytime shifts.
If you have no experience but have a customer‐service focus and a background in healthcare, we can provide paid training and mentoring.
n
These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:

- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background
n
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with high empathy
n
- Organised, with robust time‐management and attention to detail
n
- Ability to work autonomously, sometimes independently in a solo clinic
n
- Valid driver's licence and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
n
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one
n
- Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or valid visa with permission to work
n
n
A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required for this role.
n
You must hold an existing WWCC or be willing to obtain one before starting employment.
