Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

n

- Designing, implementing and testing software components in Java
n
- Using data storage technologies and designing data storage models e.g. Postgres, Elastic
n
- Coach juniors or a small teams of developers to ensure quality and timely delivery of software components
n
- Deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment e.g. AWS
n
- Using web front-end technologies e.g. HTML, CSS
n
- Using software frameworks e.g. React, Angular and Spring
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- Australian citizenship required - due to eligibility for NV1 defence clearance requirement for the role
n
- Bachelor's Degree in systems or software engineering/ computer science or related degrees
n




- 5+ years experience in software engineering / technology development
n
- Highly organised, problem solver with the ability to get things done
n
- Excellent, team-oriented team player and able to meet deadlines
n
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills, including UML
n
- Experience with key technology areas including software engineering, data storage, web technologies
n
