Position Overview
n
n
- Competent in Levels 1 and 2.
n
- Provides supervision and assists with training levels 1 and 2 within a designated area.
n
- Supervises 4 or more level 1 and 2 employees within a designated area.
n
- A team leader appointed in a designated area, responsible for coordinating, organising and allocating work, materials, and equipment in an efficient and effective manner.
n
- Undertakes problem solving using knowledge and skills for this level.
n
- Works to complex instructions and procedures and is responsible for work undertaken.
n
- Delivers elevated customer service while executing a diverse range of tasks related to supporting the operation of an entertainment complex.
n
- May include a team member who has completed Bio-Box training (at Classification Level 2) and attained the required competence as a Bio-Box Operator.

Cinema Worker Level 3 Key Accountabilities
n

- Generaln n
- Continuously monitoring and consistently delivering customer service at the highest possible standard within a cinema department, ensuring a positive and exceptional experience for patrons.
n
- Effectively address and handle customer feedback within the cinema department, ensuring prompt resolution while maintaining a positive customer experience.
n
- Provides supervision and training to level 1 and 2 employees in designated area, fostering a cooperative and supportive work setting.
n
- Provides team members with clear direction and coaching in tasks, and towards departmental goals and targets. Actively supports and drives business goals and values within designated area.
n
- Allocates tasks efficiently to 4 or more level 1 and 2 employees in designated area. Ensures team efficiency and timely execution of tasks or processes.
n
- Actively contribute to and participate in all cinema campaigns relevant to the designated area.
Ensures a collaborative approach to promotional activities.
n
- Supervise thorough and precise opening and closing procedures for the designated area, ensuring a systematic and secure transition between operational phases.
n
- Demonstrate a conscientious awareness of and adherence to fire and emergency training and procedures.
n
- Support team proficiency in cash handling, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance with established financial protocols. May support primary cash preparation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established financial protocols.
n
- Supports general administration tasks efficiently and promptly, contributing to the smooth operation of daily business activities.
n
- Implementation of policies and procedures.
n
- Implementation of quality control techniques.
n
- Maintains robust operational and product knowledge within designated area.
n

- Bio-Boxn
n
- Identify projection room equipment including audio equipment, TMS, LMS, BMS, workstation, projectors, film formats.
n
- Monitor and rectify issues with sound, focus/framing in auditoriums, supporting a high standard of content presentation.
n
- Content management including DCP-delivery and ingest via physical hard drives, IP delivery & satellite delivery.
n
- Monitor the delivery of alternative content including live satellite streaming and special event screenings. Rectify any issues as appropriate to skill and knowledge at this level.
n
- TMS daily scheduled session check.
n
- Audio Video content requirements for Conference and Events (AV equipment, laptops, audio format changes etc.).
n
- Knowledge in film programming.
n
- General maintenance within the cinema complex as appropriate to skill and knowledge at this level.
n

Skills and Experience

- Minimum of 6 months of experience at Cinema Employee Level 2.
n
- Competent in basic Maths and English.
n
- Competent in all FOH departments.
n
- Competent in cash handling.
n
- Displays leadership ability.
