Job Description

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity. Qualified candidates must be able to report in office for three days / week (minimum). In this role, you will be responsible for both technical and functional support of field service applications.

Responsibilities for the Technical Business Analyst:

n

n
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
n
- At least five (5) years of experience serving in a BA capacity by:
n
- Interfacing with end users on existing business processes
n
- Identifying user information requirements and developing ad-hoc SQL queries for analysis and translating results into custom report specifications
n
- Developing and documenting problem resolution with both internal and external technical resources
n
- Understanding system problem analysis and resolution for both local and remote locations
n
- SQL skills – comfortable around DB; ability to read and write (SQL queries, etc)
n

Requirement Qualifications:

n

n
- Experience writing and executing structured test plans; interpreting functional and technical requirements for both real-time and batch application interfaces
n
- Previous work experience within an Agile environment
n
- Knowledge of:
n
- Tactics and practices of business analysis
n
- Principles of robust software testing approaches
n
- SDLC – System life cycles and development
n
- Information Technology best practices, standards, and terminology
n
- Ability to:
n
- Troubleshoot application issues using SQL query tools and MS Excel, to prove a hypothesis
n
- Understand and follow technical design specifications
n
- Communicate technical topics to all levels of technology users
n




- Troubleshoot a technology stack – client and server
n
- Devise procedures to solve moderately complex information systems problems
n

n

Preferred Skills:

n

n
- Application Configuration experience (any experience as a SW Dev or Engineer – big plus)
n

n

Work Location: This position reports on-site multiple days / week (3X).

n
