About the role:

n

Leading financial services firm, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing technology team. This role is suited to someone with deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, a strong background in financial markets or investment banking, and a passion for designing and maintaining secure, resilient systems.

n

As part of the infrastructure team, you'll play a key role in supporting business-critical systems and ensuring technology services run seamlessly. Working closely with senior engineers and stakeholders across the business, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality support, troubleshooting, and contributing to infrastructure projects.

n

What's a typical day look like?

n

n
- Provide Level 3 support and advanced troubleshooting across server infrastructure.
n
- Maintain core platforms including Active Directory, Citrix, SQL Server, M365, and hybrid cloud environments.
n
- Deliver system upgrades, patching, hardware replacement,



and software deployment.
n
- Document processes and procedures to support continuity and operational excellence.
n
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organisational standards.
n
- Contribute technical expertise to infrastructure-related projects and initiatives.
n

About You:

n

n
- 6+ years in senior infrastructure roles (with a degree in computer science or equivalent).
n
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory (Group Policy, Sites and Services, Certification Authority, and PowerShell).
n
- Experience designing and implementing infrastructure solutions including AD, file shares, Azure/M365, and server permissions with best practice security and redundancy.
n
- Strong background in hybrid cloud (Azure, AWS) and SaaS integrations.
n
- Expertise with Windows Server, Entra ID, M365, Citrix VDI, Intune, SCCM, and app packaging.
n
- Familiarity with Mimecast, Papercut, and vulnerability management tools such as Qualys is an advantage.
n
