Our client, Tambo Primary Health Care Centre in Queensland, is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead their primary health care operations. This is a three-month contract role (24 August to 24 November 2026) classified at NG9, offering AUD $91.00 per hour. The successful candidate will step into a leadership position where clinical vision, team management, and strategic oversight directly shape the quality of care delivered across the centre's primary health services.

- Lead nursing strategy and clinical governance across a primary health care setting

Preferred Requirements

- Extensive experience in nursing leadership, with a track record managing teams in primary or community health settings
- Strong understanding of primary health care models,



service delivery, and population health principles
- Demonstrated ability to develop nursing staff, implement clinical protocols, and ensure compliance with health standards
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Sound financial acumen and experience managing budgets within a health service context

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-graduate qualification in Nursing Leadership, Health Management, or related discipline
- Current knowledge of Australian primary health care frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements
