Tarni Resources is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician for a short-term 2-week project assignment in the eastern suburbs of Perth.
Please note: This is a temporary project assignment running from 22 August 2026 to 5 September 2026. While this is initially a 2-week assignment, there may be opportunities for future engagements with Tarni Resources based on project requirements and performance.

About the Role The successful Auto Electrician will be responsible for electrical diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile equipment and associated systems.
Key responsibilities include
- Carrying out electrical diagnostics and fault finding
- Repairing and maintaining heavy mobile equipment
- Troubleshooting electrical systems and components
- Completing scheduled servicing and maintenance
- Attending to electrical faults and breakdowns
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Working safely and contributing positively to the team To Be Successful
You will have
- Australian-recognised Auto Electrician Trade Qualification
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician
- Experience working on Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) or heavy machinery
- Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Mining experience and an Automotive Air Conditioning Licence will be highly regarded.
