About the Role
This is a great career chance for an Automotive Diagnostic Specialist / Salesperson based in the South East QLD region to join our field sales team. You'll be supporting our mobile franchisees in Queensland and New Zealand in achieving ongoing growth in sales of our fantastic range of diagnostic tools and related products.
As a Diagnostic Sales Developer reporting to our Diagnostic and Equipment Manager, your responsibilities will include:-
- Spending time in the field on store with franchisees visiting automotive workshop customers to help achieve their sales goals
- Coaching franchisees in demonstrating and selling Snap-on’s range of diagnostic scan tool products and software to automotive technicians and workshop owners
- Deliver field technical support and training on Snap-on's diagnostic products
- Organising and conducting Diagnostic evets, selling to customers and workshop owners, plus assisting franchisees in planning for these events
- Participating in sales meetings, conferences and other events as required.
The Ideal Candidate We're looking for a highly influential salesperson and automotive diagnostics professional with:-
- An automotive trade qualification, an in-depth understanding of modern vehicle electronic systems, plus up to date knowledge of current diagnostic techniques and tool requirements
- Experience in sales and dealing with customers required, such as sales representative, service advisor/manager, managing a workshop or running your own business desirable
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident in content delivery to large groups, plus experience training or coaching required
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently, whilst working as part of a team
- Drivers license required, and flexibility to travel regularly around QLD, NZ and other occasionally interstate.
